Hello all
Building relationships
Hello all,
My name is Andrew Cunningham and I am the owner of Cunning Fabrication. We are a small fabrication shop that deals mostly in woodworking but throughout the years we have dipped our toes in allittle bit of everything, including but not limited to: Vinyl sign work, mechanic work, remodeling, fencing, welding, etc.. I just wanted to take the time to introduce myself and encourage those who like me tend to burn the candle at both ends.
In life we all tend to get busy, overworked, and stressed. With bills, vehicles breaking down, wanting to take the family on vacation, church and school activities, and all the other things screaming for our attention and money, everyone often finds themselves wanting to crawl in bed and not leave again. Disappear into the woods or go on a permanent walkabout.
For most the goal of work is to make money and that is the point of working or owning a business. However I would like to encourage you the reader to step back and think about who we are making the money for? Family? Friends? When you go to work or interact with customers look at those you work with and come into contact with. Take the time to get to know them. Life is a collection of meetings, relationships, and stories. Talk to those around you and listen to the stories. Take a few extra minutes to let your family know they matter, help a coworker when you see them struggling, treat your customers like family, and build relationships.
Money is a necessity, but money does not run and give me a hug when I get home, encourage me when life gets rough, do a victory dance when it out shoots me in an archery match, or give me a call when they need help. Money fades, but the relationships we make last forever.
